One of the best things about fishing in Malindi is the variety of different species of fish that can be caught. When the billfish are not running as they should be there is always a chance for Giant Trevally, Wahoo, Kingfish, Barracuda, Dorado and Black Runner. If you are a keen angler or just want to have a go this is not to be missed. The Driftwood can organise a day on one of the very good charter boats operating from Malindi. Most boats have a limit of 4 anglers per boat. All clients will be collected from the Driftwood. The Tag & Release of billfish is encouraged. If the fish is in good condition, the crew is happy to let it go. Kenya to date has tagged more fish than most countries in the world.
