CHARTERED 2026 BY INTRODUCTION ONLY SOUTHEAST GULF COAST
THE INDUSTRY YOU BUILT IS BEING REBUILT. LEAD THAT.
A private peer network for owners, operators, and principals in construction, shipbuilding, energy, chemicals, turbine MRO, and civil infrastructure. Serious about leading through the AI transition, not surviving it.
OPPORTUNITY
What this generation faces
EVERY GENERATION GETS ONE INFLECTION POINT. THIS IS YOURS.
AI is not coming for the Built World from the outside. It is already inside your estimating software, project management platforms, procurement systems, and site operations. The question is not whether your business will change. It already is.
The operators who move now, deliberately and with the right peers, will build generational companies. Those who wait will spend the next decade catching up to the ones who didn't.
There is no room built for this conversation. Most masterminds are filled with consultants. Most conferences are vendor pitches. And your direct competitors are not your ideal thinking partners.
Driftwood Club exists to fill that gap.
THE ROOM
Who is inside
OWNERS. OPERATORS. PRINCIPALS.
Members run real operations. Plants, yards, sites, fleets, crews. They are accountable to P&Ls, schedules, and physical assets. Not panels. Not podcasts. Not consultants.
They have built at scale and have earned the right to talk about what is changing on the ground.

ADMISSION THE THRESHOLD
You qualify for consideration if:
- You are an owner, principal, or senior operator of a Built World business doing $25M+ in revenue or operating capital.
- Your work is in the physical economy. Not advising it. Not selling to it.
- You hold authority over decisions of real consequence. Capital. Capacity. Succession. Exposure.
- You are nominated by a current member, or known by one well enough to vouch.
- You are not a vendor, consultant, broker, or service provider to the room you would join.
Members nominate. Members interview. Members can veto.
THE PRACTICE
How the room works
TWO GATHERINGS. TWO CHECK-INS. ONE STANDING ROOM.
The format is small and steady. Real operators in a real room, off the record, no decks, no sponsors, no panel theater. The conventions are simple and they hold.
-
CADENCE
Two in-person gatherings a year on the Southeast Gulf Coast, plus two virtual check-ins between them. Same place, same week year over year. The rhythm becomes part of the discipline.
-
FORUM
Twelve operators per forum, composed to avoid direct competitive overlap. Same room year over year. Members miss no more than one in-person gathering and one check-in per year.
-
RITUALS
Three named practices. Site Visit: a member's operation reviewed by peers on the ground. P&L Defense: an annual peer review of your numbers. Hot Seat: one operating question, forty-five minutes of peer pressure.
-
CODE
What is said in the room stays in the room. No press, no recordings, no posts. No vendor introductions inside the network. Breach ends membership. Read the full Charter →
THE STANDARD
YOU DON'T BUILD DRIFTWOOD.
YOU BECOME IT.
Hardened by the path. Admired for the journey. Useful not despite the path, but because of it.
THE DOOR
How to join
MEMBERSHIP IS BY NOMINATION.
No formal application. No pitch deck. If you read this and the room sounds like yours, send a note below. Tell us what you have built, what you are wrestling with, and who would vouch for you. Every note is read personally.
