Using the site

Driftwood Club (“we”) runs this site for people who own, service, and build power equipment and the systems around it. You may read, link to, and share pages for any lawful purpose. Please do not scrape the site at a rate that disrupts it, try to break its security, or send spam through its forms.

Curation and sources

The Power Brief, Market Reads, and the sources library are curation. Each item links to its original publisher, and the reporting, data, and documents belong to their owners, who keep all their rights. Our summaries and commentary are our own. We do not reproduce paywalled material. If you own something we link to and want a correction or a change, email hello@driftwoodclub.com.

Not advice

Nothing here is investment, financial, legal, or engineering advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, operate, or modify anything. Check original sources and qualified professionals before you act.

No warranty

We work to be accurate, but the site and everything on it are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Sources change, and we can make mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the site or relying on its content.

Community conduct

• Be truthful about who you are and what you do.
• Keep what members share in private conversations private, unless they say otherwise.
• No harassment, spam, or unsolicited selling.
• Do not share confidential information you are not allowed to share, including your employer’s.

We may decline or end membership for anyone who does not follow these rules.
